Hand-stretched, wood-fired, and made with the same care your nonna would approve of. Welcome to Puglia Pizzeria — Southbury's neighborhood oven.

Hot to your door
We didn't open a restaurant — we opened a piece of home. Puglia Pizzeria was born from a simple belief: that the best pizza doesn't need a fancy menu. It needs good flour, patient dough, and a fire that's been burning since sunrise.
Every morning we hand-stretch each crust, sauce each pie by eye, and slide it into a stone oven heated to a blistering 900 degrees. The result is a pie with a charred, chewy cornicione and a center so thin you can almost see through it. That's the Neapolitan way. That's the only way we know.
"Hands down the best pizza in New Haven County. The crust has that perfect char and chew — you can tell they actually care about what they're doing. We come here every Friday without fail."

"Brought my family here for dinner and everyone left satisfied — even the picky eaters. The truffle mushroom is incredible, and the atmosphere feels like a warm hug. Can't wait to come back."

"As someone who grew up eating real Neapolitan pizza in Italy, I can honestly say this is the real deal. The dough is alive — bubbly, chewy, flavorful. This place has soul."
